His made-up story was a lie, therefore it's a ruse. I can't think of a good reason to relate his story here. I will tell you it was pretty laughable. He has ducked and dodged every question I've posed him. Keeping his confidences...not exactly. I feel there's more for me to gain by keeping most of what I know to myself - than share it here. I'll show my cards when the time seems right. |

The Detroit Marathon has a section of the course on Canadian territory. Did any part of Mr. Littons marathon relay that he was suppose to run but was disqualified for, occur on Canadian territory? |

It's already been established he ran the 2nd leg on his '09 FPM relay team - the leg that goes from Windsor, thru the tunnel to Detroit. Why do you want to know this? His explanation for his fast time on the leg: 'I thought I was having a good day'. Do tell. Problem is, he got the tag after the first team yet handed off before the first team - w/out passing them. It was the first time he was exposed as a cheat. It wouldn't be the last. |

I think what's funny is that the Delaware race director had threatened to go public with some of his cheating (and possible charity stuff) unless Kip took down the worldrecordrun.com website and it says Kip agreed to take it down. but the info still went public as we at letsrun kept piling and piling more mud on him, his tactics and his reputation. |
thanks! |

Kip brought this continued attention on himself by continuing to cheat after Delaware. You misuse the word "think" in your statement, because if you truly feel that Kip in somehow wronged by all this, or the victim, you are not thinking very clearly. |

The Delaware Marathon RD had nothing to do with Kip taking down his worldrecordrun.com web site. What's really funny is Dr Litton says he's still running for charity. |

Please do NOT forward this thread to all his Facebook friends. Just because most of his friends have the default privacy setting which allows anyone to "Send Message" (not just friends), no one should take advantage of this. But if you read his FB wall (also public, available to all), his friends are in awe of his accomplishments. (Personally, I have my friend list hidden so even my FB friends can't see who else I am friends with). |

It is widely regarded that Kip writes messages on his own wall posing as his adoring "friends." No proof of course, but given all the fictitious crap he's invented, you have to assume that his friends are in another universe as well. |

Let's keep this to running and cheating in races. Every time someone makes some accusation, or even a passing comment, about some other unethical or questionable thing he may have done (with not only no proof but with no real evidence at all) the whole thing looks more and more like a witch hunt. |

To Study of KLR: If you are interested in expanding the timeline on your website, I went back to several older (2007 and 2008) races that fit Kip's m.o. Posted these several weeks ago: see my first 2 posts on p. 54. Third post shows the m.o. started in 2006. |

This thread is quite interesting. There has been a plethora of damning evidence. BUT, there has been too much conjecture and fuzzy logic. Be careful to not make assumptions that can not be properly supported. There seems to be enough evidence without looking foolish. And for eff's sake, keep this in the running community. Don't pursue his friends and business. Those things usually take care of themselves as the case unfolds. just my $0.02 |
