Ok, for anyone else considering spending time searching the boston lost&found pics, the "Mid Race" section is done. I'm pretty confident I didn't miss any. 4 pics found total (see earlier posts). |

They needn't respond. This matter is being dealt with, um, internally. That's all I can say. |
do thine eyes decieve me? |

I'm probably reaching a bit here but humor me and go take a look. I couldn't look at the picture blown up so maybe someone else could and confirm/deny what i'm seeing. Follow the link and click on "ON-COURSE: View Male Runners (26761)", then go to page 875 and look at two pictures of the guy in blue at the bottom of the page -It looks an awful lot like kip in the face, at least to me -red shoes with what looks like yellow laces (same as the others? I couldn't tell) -the usual cap with sunglasses and hidden bib (although different hat and sunglasses than we've seen before) |

Good idea of telling what has been done to save time for everyone and split up the work. I have looked at the ON COURSE pics from 875 till the end. |

One last thing. It could be the same blue jacket as he wore in the 5k |

Ok, here's a thought I just had, thinking about Kip's Heart Rate Monitor, which he appears to be wearing a Polar watch in these pics (at least the watch... don't know about the strap). Similar to the "why doesn't kip wear a garmin?" post a while back.... In his Jan 2, year-end Facebook post, he mentioned his yearly summary, ("2420 miles running & 3380 on the bike", etc.) and mentioned the HRM said "HRM says 374,200 calories burned." My polar only records calories burned when I'm wearing the chest strap. No strap, no HR, 0 calories burned. So, if the guy religiously wears his strap, he'd probably wear it in a race, right? Therefore, if he actually ran an entire race he would have a data file of 2:5x:xx with a steadily high HR throughout. Maybe he doesn't keep (download) the data off his watch. If so, the watch storage is limited (last 20 runs or so). But if the guy is logging every mile run, and ever mile biked, there is a good chance he's downloading the HR data. Sorry for the long post. It just occurred to me that if somebody called me a cheat, and I wore a Polar HRM, it would be pretty easy for me to produce some convincing HR data files. Not having that adds something like suspicious data point #187 to this case. |

It gets stranger! For your consideration: the Gasparilla series of races down in Florida. Kip ran the Gasparilla 5K, 15K and marathon, in the same weekend, and won his AG every time. Gasparilla 5K Sat. Feb 27, 1010 Time: 17:33 (clock time: 20:40) – 1st in AG Pics (Bib 27641): http://www.marathonfoto.com/order_my_photos.cfm?BFI=x96bksfhqn&Language=en Please note the usual shades, long black pants, hat, and absence of visible bib. Gasparilla 15K Sat. Feb 27, 1010 Time: 54:05 (clock time:57:11)- 1st in AG Pics (Bib 641): http://www.marathonfoto.com/order_my_photos.cfm?BFI=x96bksfhqn&Language=en !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very different look, don’t you think? Seriously, who is that guy? The one thing that’s similar though is that he also changed his outfit during the race: different shirt and pants. Is this a cheater club of what? Gasparilla Marathon Sunday Feb 28, 1010 Time: 2:53:52 (clock time: 02:57:56) - 1st in AG Pics (Bib 28641): http://www.marathonfoto.com/order_my_photos.cfm?BFI=x96bksfhqn&Language=en Only pictures at the finish of marathon. Notice the bandanna beneath the hat and the reflective shades. |

Thine eyes do deceive you. If you add it to the other pictures (since I am looking with his name and bib number, it seems to allow me to click the "this is me" and put it with his) you can then get it enlarged- definitely not him in the face, and different shoes. |

Idle New yorker - can you please post a description of how to get to each of those pics?? The links don't work. Thanks.

My guess is that for Boston he ran the first half or so, and then he jumped out to cut the course with a bike he had strategically set up. He probably jumped in and out several times to hit all his 5K splits. Finally he made the outfit change and then jumped back for a final time to finish the race. I say this since he's showing up in pics running along at about midway through (and also note the timing mat right behind him in some of those pics). That Jim Rhoades pic at 30K just didn't look right -- he had probably just jumped in to hit the 30K timing mat. |

Why doesn't this thread appear in the "On The Boards" on the homepage? It has been wildly popular for the last week and has 572 posts already. |

Ok, found another pic (#5 now) in the lost & found. Pretty lucky find, because even i don't think I have to patience to tackle all 893 pages. Follow the link, clink on "ON-COURSE: View Male Runners (26761)", then go to page 248. Bottom picture, middle. Outfit #2 (shorts, compression socks, black logo shirt, etc..) Again, if anyone knows where in the race this is, please chime in. There are gates along the road, so I don't know if that narrows it down at all, or not. |

Gasparilla photos: I went through the lost & found and claimed any photos I saw of him as my own. marathonfoto.com Find - Gasparilla 15K 5K under RACE NAME For Last Name type in mine - Krugger Bib number - 606 It should bring up both our photos. The rainy ones are of the 5k. Does he look like a guy that could beat me in a race? C'mon, who is more ballin'? Let us not forget that he's walking the 5k finish after starting 3 minutes back behind a wall of people (9000 finishers). Kip needs to mail his 1st Overall plaque to Pedro. Pedro can give me his 2nd, and I'll mail my 3rd to Patrick. I sent off an email to Gasparilla last week explaining that their champ on the challenge for the last two years cheated. Haven't heard back. |

Not sure where it is. There are a lot of gates along the course, I see them in one of my pictures with a sign in the background for St Ignatious' of Loyola, looks to be just past boston college on google maps. Don't have the patience to street view along the course... As to why no links to front- seems that this thread is skirting around the brojos comfort zone. They deleted all the prior ones, there was mention a ways back (from rojo) about not posting his business address, and then scotth's cryptic comments that he can't say anything, but implying that other media outlets are looking into this. I can see them allowing it to go on, but not wanting to draw attention to it until it's a bit more settled that he is a cheating bastard. |

Come to think of it- that's pretty funny. Whenever a thread pops up that is offensive to some, they quickly point out that the "super-hot" feature is purely automated, and that it is not them editorializing (I remember this with the "give it up Deena"). Apparently, they can make a thread exempt from getting flagged if they really want to. |
