I found pictures of him falling across the finish line. I will see if I can download them and upload them somewhere else.

Ran thru the lost and found of the Sarasota 2009 Half. Nothing. The race field is thin for that event. At his purported pace, he would be alone or with maybe one guy and should have been photographed like everyone else. Of course, not a smoking gun, but part of the pattern. That was a VERY warm day to run fast.

Hopeful email response from my buddy.

His worldrecordrun stuff didnt start till later I think. Yet in 2009 in sarasota, he started 2 minutes back. hmm.

Why is he running at the end of the deadwood marathon. Doesn't he know they DQ people for that. He should've walked through the finish and went home.

To complement the info that SoKLR just posted, some of the folks who posted on the original Kip Litton forum found these:

http://www.backprint.com/view_event_photos.asp?PID=bp%18yG&EVENTID=64985&PWD=&START=301&SHOW=60&CAT=216483&SUB=0

at the Deadwood marathon. They are at the tail end of the start. Once you scroll down and identify Kip (I won't tell you which one he is - trying doing a "Where's Waldo" exercise), you can look backwards in time to watch him loitering around in a furtive way with his head down, his number invisible and his typical disguise on.

Has anyone attempeted to contact by phone or e-mail the RDs of the Arizona Rock n Roll Marathon, Go St Louis Marathon and the one in Virginia? They may know more than we do and may make your investigative work easier.

I'm also wondering if any of the marathons has requested a reimbursement of their prize money and/or offered the prize money to the correct recipients after removal of Litton from their results. I never thought to ask this question to Delaware, Deadwood and Missoula.

damn, pretty obvious just from my first glance he's in the Boston Marathon tights at the bottom of that page. black raincoat on, sunglasses upsidedown on top of hat
Think we're right.

Those deadwood photos from the start are really a smoking gun with regards to how he gets this done. Disguise, no bib, walk over the mat looking like a non-competitor, step off, drive to mat or say mile 24 and run in the last 2 miles to a top 5 finish.

I don't understand this. Here is a picture of the finisher that should be ahead of Kip in St. Louis in Gun time.

Notice that he is 1 sec. ahead but the view down the road shows no Kip in sight.

The nice thing was that it appears Deadwood has very good controls in place to discover cheating. i mean yes, being a small race obviously makes things easier, but it looks like from the results website you could sort the leaders at various checkpoints

Great photo sequence. I was wondering how he behaved right around the mats. Looks like he just stands a little out on the course and watches runners go by, like a spectator, and then strolls across the mat. The race timing guy has no clue. Presumably the chip is in KL's posession at this point - does anyone see it on his shoe?

damn, looks similar to our alleged Boston technique as there's a
1. hat change to BAA hat for finish
2. raincoat stripped?
3. shirt changed to black t-shirt (appears he has grey shirt on underneath black raincoat)
etc

You can even see his grey compression socks on but pulled down so he won't look the same later.
