Wow, those pics from Brooksie Way of "RR" sure do bear an uncanny resemblance to the Kipster. I am willing to conclude that prior to his cheating under his own name, he did a few test runs under an alias to make sure the scheme would come to fruition. The more and more people dig up on this, the more and more elaborate it becomes.

I will stick by my opinion that in some way this all has to do with monetary gain. I just cannot fathome someone going to these extreme links simply to cheat in a few races. I understand that he is a dentist so $ is more than likely not a huge concern when it comes to traveling around the United States, I make much less than a Dentist and I am able to travel around the U.S. without a huge strain. However, I cannot see someone spending that kind of money to cheat in races around the country. I obvioulsy have no proof of any of this, it is simply my opinion. The simple fact that many donations were being led directly to his own "worldrecordrun" website should at the very least raise some concerns.

here are unsorted pics from 2008 brooksie.

http://www.runmichigan.com/photogallery/08/brooksieway1mjr100508.php

i took only a brief run through the thumbnails for the set at the 2 mile mark and the set at the 5 mile mark and nothing popped out at me (other than this guy who surely won the masters-both-hand-basketball-dribble division -http://www.runmichigan.com/photogallery/08/brooksieway1mjr100508_window.php?252).

have not yet looked at the 40some pages of start/finish photos.

sometimes runmichigan has some video of races too but i wasn't able to find any.

i have no doubt that if someone with more patience and time than me scoured these pics the results would be the same for many of the other races.

Friend, if you were him and had help in Boston, you would have the time to change every piece of clothing on your body, seriously.

I will admit, I don't think he had accomplices at most of the races, but at Boston I am now quite confident he went to whole wardrobe. The only way to do that is to have a helper with a vehicle. Hidding clothes, hats and other things (shoes?) in the woods are not impossible, but not logical either. That course is lined although it's always possible. Then you are risking being seen, remember exactly where you stashed them,....not likely in my opinion.

The guy (blue jacket no number) with the legs that seem to have more hair on them than Kip in his finishing Boston photo (not at 30k with the black pants), well camera angles and lighting have a lot to do with that. Look closer at his finishing photo. I believe I see hair there also.

His sub 1:22 at Brooksie, sure! I wish I had known about him running that because I could have ran or better yet biked that one. A very woody area for a half marathon.

The guy who saw him come out of the woods on the RW forum, that's what probably happened there also. I don't know if the people who have stuck up for him from the FB are real or ficticious, but irrelevant of that, I believe he now has help. Wearing all black and covering his number in most races, tough MO to figure out, not.

As I've said too many times on this thread, he didn't go off course at the 5 mile point of the Crim or the relay in Detroit, he flat out cheated and then got caught. Any one who knows him personally knows now that they been lied to. Cheating in a relay? And who were his teammates? What are their names? Did they know or was this a single effort to fool everyone?

Yup, he tried an alias in the beginning in case he was caught.

Skippy Kippy has his Bayshore 2008 race shirt on again. Man he needs better disguises and fake names.

I ran Brooksie as a marathon pace workout in 2009, that is a hilly tough course in the 2nd half. Skippy Rodriguez didn't run 1:19 - not a chance.

Lets take a look at what is possibly Kip's PR 5k race according to Athlinks. If we can prove Kip can run a 5k in 17 min. then, with proper training, he could run 2:50. I will break this post up into multiple parts due to the links.

Komen Race for the Cure Detroit is a small local race (which I have never run) that appears to have NO chip timing. Check out the course, it is a dream course to Kip a PR at. http://www.karmanos.org/raceforthecuredetroit/releases/2008%20route%20map%20for%20info%20book_FINAL.pdf

There are photos at the start and finish. All of the top finishers (at least up to Kip) can be accounted for in the finish photo sequence. Looking through the start photos and using magnification of 2x or 4x (Image Zoom Firefox add-on works well), I can account for all but Kip and one other kid. Kip has a distinct pink cap on and is wearing the race shirt from his 1st marathon listed as run in 2003. Note that he has to shirts on to stay warm.

This is actually the first indisputable evidence that he broke the rules in a race, entering and "running" under a false name. Of course, I'm convinced that he cheated in just about every race that he has ever entered, but this is the first proof of breaking the rules.

I think this is important because it changes the game a bit when a race must consider whether to disqualify him. Several of you stated that you contacted race directors who told you they were suspicious of him, but felt they didn't have enough evidence to disqualify him. I think you should re-contact those race directors and suggest that the same level of evidence that is necessary to disqualify someone else, is not necessary for Kip "the skip" Litton. He has already been disqualified from several races and he has competed in another race under a false name.

One has to wonder if he signed "Richard Rodriguez" on the waiver? Signing a false name on a legal document. Things are getting a bit more dicey for the Skipper.

It won't help much, but I know the young man in 3rd place. He's a nice young man named Pat Webster. Unfortunately he wouldn't have seen anything because he finished in front of Teflon Litton.

If you get the name of the 12th place finisher who was right behind Kip, he should have seen something different happen where this character suddenly was in front of him. I suspect a turn with a gap and he jumped in.

If he's from the area, I may know him. In a race that short you would definitely see who was in front of you and be able to count them as they pulled away knowing your place. He's too far out for me to tell.

I know the 30th and 35th finishers from corporate cup events through work. I'll send an email to our running club organizer and see if he can run this by them.
