I had that thought, but in the end I will sleep fine if that happens ... unless it turns out that the whole "Study of.." was the hoax, not the rest of the stuff. I would feel horrible for those close to Kip, but the (alleged) cheating and fraud were of his doing, so (to use your phrase) the blood would be on his own hands. |

just go read the study of kip litton running performances blog. he cheats in marathons to break 3 and wanted to run sub 3 in every state. lots of evidence supporting him cheating and now making up fake races to help with his goal. and he was soliciting donations for cystic fibrosis that may or may not have gone to CF. He wanted to raise $250k |

Are there any races that he has run that 1) are thought to be legit and 2) have any photos of him? That weird FB photo has me wondering. It would be super easy to sell/give your number to a faster runner. One could even say "it's for good cause, I got injured, will you run for the children for me?". And frankly, if he's bold enough to make up races, he's bold enough to cheat Boston. I'd really like to figure how he did that. It may have been much simpler than we think, Boston numbers are certainly in demand. |
